The German Junior Open in 2012 again is an ESF Super Series event. The tournament is also registered with the Women's International Squash Players Assiciation as WISPA Risind Star event. New from now is a World Ranking status for girls and boys under 19 which was introduced by WSF in the last months.

In 2012 the German Junior Open moves to Nürnberg some 160 kilometres north of Munich. During spring 2012 we run the Squash Festival 2012 there with a lot of important tournaments and its highlight European Team Championships 2012 Divisions 1 & 2.
